Sam Green & the Time Machine’s music which is now called Salaam Shalom Green on iTunes due to publishing issues is like a cross between James Taylor and Van Morrison, with a Spanish guitar, he is original. Great voice, Great songs Sam was the local watchmaker for over forty years in Swan St. and he began at the age of 9 years old, working after school His father was the watchmaker speechwriter and poet there in Richmond Victoria for 58 years, writing Russian and Yiddish. After his father died in 2008 at the age of 95 Sam devoted more time to singing and writing, Sam Green ( Salaam Shalom Green ) has over nine albums, which can be bought on line at his web site. Of iTunes he will be making available records under his new stage name Salaam Shalom Green. The web site MrMusicman.com would receive about 14,000 visits a month world-wide at the end of 2011. There was a time once he received 100, 000 hits a week for a few months, that was in 1997. In the past he was DJ promoting live music in Melbourne scene on radio station 3CR Local and Live that was in 1994. At that time Sam was also workshop co-ordinator in Australian Songwriters Association, then it was based in Melbourne and meetings were at the old muso club in St. Kilda, now they are in Sydney, a different world. As we know music business is like surfing; a big wave comes in and can take you far, Last count, Sam Green was host of Local, Live and International a hour show on Lion FM also based in Melbourne.. but the station did not renew its broadcast licence. Sam is looking for an outlet, to be a DJ on radio show, if chosen. Sam Green has written much.
