For over a decade, Eilen Jewell has taken her brand of sultry surf-noir and dynamic Americana music to cities from Melbourne to Madrid to Manhattan. Katie Thompson

New Zealand singer/songwriter Katie Thompson has just released her sophomore album“Impossible” which had been described as a treasure-trove of rare and beautiful songs which blend elements of pop, folk, and country.

Katie was nominated for Female Artist of the Year at the NZ Country Music Awards '11 & recently won the right to open for Elton John at his only New Zealand concert in Dunedin.



Sarah Shook & The Disarmers

Sarah Shook & The Disarmers are a country band with a sneer, a bite, and no apologies. Shook's original songs take on the usual country spin on shitty relationships, bad decisions, and excessive alcohol consumption for damn good reasons.



Tara Tinsley





Tara Tinsley is a Singer/Songwriter who has been compared to artists like Miranda Lambert and Blondie all the while maintaining a fresh, unique sound. She has released multiple albums one of which includes the song “More Sinners Than Saints” written with country star, Tracy Lawrence. She has opened for Smashmouth, Sister Hazel, and Boston and has toured the United States and Japan. 

Esther Rose

This Time Last Night is my debut album. It features the sounds and players of the country music scene here in Holy Cross.

The songs are listed in chronological order of when I wrote them, documenting my experiences and learning as I stumble through life...and seemingly hit every bump on the road.

It was such a pleasure to get to record these songs & I hope you enjoy them!

Flora Knight & Sean Donald

Flora Knight & Sean Donald are a Dunedin, NZ based old time country duo. Flora on fiddle and Sean on guitar - they sing in close harmony and play fiddle tunes gleaned from the Southern states of America.

2017 will see them release their debut album.



Kate Ellis

Kate Ellis was born in Louisiana and raised in NY, with music described by Lyric Magazine as: "Brand new yet classicallytimeless...think Nanci Griffith with a modern twist". Kate’s southern country-folk roots come from her dad who once played guitar with Hank Williams. A journalist for the Observer said: "Kate Ellis writes hauntingly beautiful songs and has an amazing voice, I'm a fan!"   

Fiona Kennedy




Fiona Kennedy is well-known in Scotland as a singer, performer, and broadcaster. Her career has always been diverse - a singer first, children's presenter, broadcaster, an actress on film, TV and the stage.

She was awarded an OBE in 2014 for her services to music and charitable work.  In 2016 she was awarded the first 'Culture and Heritage Award' by the St Andrews Society of New York.

Caroline Reese

Caroline Reese is an americana songwriter who has been writing and touring since 2010. She's opened for Chris Stapleton,Brandi Carlile, Ray Wylie Hubbard and Shannon McNally. Reese's 4th album, Tenderfoot, was released Jan. 6, 2017, and the follow-up EP, Two Horses, came out September 8, 2017.
